GENERAL CONSTRUCTION

The Trail Camper has a full  chassis which is Hot Dipped Galvanised , and all fittings are either stainless steel , brass or aluminium.

The 5 leaf spring assembly on the 1 ton axle  with 13 " rims give a ground clearance of 240mm to the underside of the axle - ample clearance for even off  road conditions .

The Trail Camper weighs 450 to 480 kg depending on which tent is fitted , with a GVM of 750kg making it possible to tow with a 1600cc vehicle and because of the stability of the TrailCamper it trails extremely well 

The bodywork is now completely covered in aluminium making the Trail Camper completely rustproof and ensuring a  durable high quality finish , this aluminium enhancement takes the Trail Camper into a category of very high quality trailers and yet remains competitively priced and very good value for money

Tent specification:

        All tents are made from polymide Ripstop material

       and come complete with flysheet

       and a heavy duty PVC ground sheet that is
       secured to the bottom of the tent sealing it
       The foam mattress is covered with a
       durable cover and the aluminium step ladder supplied, is
       lightweight and fixes securely to the side
       of the trailer giving easy access to and from the top bed.

The bed is a full size double bed 1360 x 2.00 met
